As a member of the Federation of Ecomuseums and Society Museums, the Biot Glass Ecomuseum aims to highlight and promote the glass tradition.
As a place of conservation and representation, but also of life and transmission, the Ecomuseum’s mission is to make know-how accessible and to ensure its durability for years to come.
Bubbled glass, the unique know-how of La Verrerie de Biot, fully integrates this heritage.
The Federation of Ecomuseums is involved in three missions
- Communicate, value and publicize the achievements of its members.
- Represent their interests to the public authorities (State and local authorities).
- Promote the activities and professionalization of its members by facilitating exchanges of experience, joint work programs, and access to various services and tools.
